The Facilities at
Kings Mills
All of the facilities
at Kings Mills are warm and inviting, offering a unique atmosphere to foster the
right mood for the perfect wedding reception.
Privacy is paramount at Kings Mills and we have structured our business
to allow brides and grooms to enjoy their reception and feel like they are the
only guests on property. Each of
our Rooms has an independent entrance and large decking or patio space to allow
your guests to enjoy their evening without interacting with guests from other
receptions. Wall-to-wall hardwood
flooring allows Kings Mills to boast expansive areas for dancing without the use
of portable dance floors. A club
sound system has been professionally installed in each of the rooms, to allow
yourself and your bridal party to be the center of attention and to keep the
disc jockey out of your photography. The
sound system spreads music evenly through the room for dinner and focuses the
more intense dance music directly upon the dance floor.
A beautiful setting is provided in each of the rooms to display the
wedding cake, providing the perfect backdrop for photographs of the cake and
cake cutting. Beautiful historic fireplaces are visible in each of our rooms
creating their own unique ambiance. Permanent bar facilities are also built into
each of the Rooms, providing your guests with excellent service.
All of the rooms also have ample bathroom facilities to accommodate your
guests. It is important to note
that although Kings Mills dates back to the 1700’s, all of our rooms are newly
renovated and are fully air conditioned and heated, all of the lighting can be
dimmed to create a romantic atmosphere, and all of the rooms, including the
